Anthony T. Bowser focuses his practice primarily in labor and employment law, civil litigation, as well as business and commercial law. He specializes in representing employers in matters related to labor and employment law and believes in taking a proactive approach in helping companies reduce the risk of litigation.
Anthony represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including:
- Employment discrimination
- Employment contracts
- Wage and hour claims
- Labor management relations, including school district labor representation
- Employee discipline and termination
- Workplace harassment
- Family and Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, and all other federal, state, and local employment statutes
- Providing guidance to employers on policy development and drafting of employee handbooks
- Restrictive covenants, including non-compete, non-disclosure, and non-solicitation agreements
- Severance agreement
In addition to representing employers in labor and employment law matters, Anthony regularly represents clients in resolving an array of disputes. Anthony aggressively pursues his clients’ interest, whether through litigation or alternative dispute resolution. Anthony represents clients in litigation matters arising from the following:
- Real estate transaction
- Business litigation, including entity dissolution
- Breach of contract and business torts
- Fraud and consumer
- Construction
- Municipal enforcement
Anthony also represents clients in the following types of matters:

In his spare time Anthony enjoys playing sports such as soccer, basketball and golf. He remains active in the community through various non-profit organizations. Anthony is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Children's Home of York and was recently named to the Board of Directors for the York County Bar Foundation. Also, Anthony is currently the Chair of the Municipal Committee of the York County Bar Association.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS
- Represented employer in securing injunction against former employee who started competing business in violation of a non-compete agreement.
- Successfully defended numerous clients in employment and housing discrimination claims before the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission.
- Negotiated collective bargaining agreements and handled work stoppage issues for school districts and other municipal entities.
